Calls for Service November 1-3, 2013

 

Police were dispatched to High Street for a resident reporting a located stolen bicycle. The bicycle was reported stolen previously and its owner saw a male riding it. The bike was positively identified by the owner and paperwork was provided supporting the claim. The accused was placed under arrest for possession of stolen property.

 

Officers responded to the Woodlake Apartment complex for a fight. Two females were located fighting with each other. Both were placed under arrest and issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

 

A 25 year old Paulsboro resident was observed crossing N. Broad Street at Red Bank Avenue improperly causing motorists to stop abruptly to avoid striking her. The accused was found to be in possession of CDS and was placed under arrest. After being processed the accused was released with the appropriate summonses.

 

Woodbury units responded to Woodlake Apartment complex for a fight in the parking lot. The accused were located and placed under arrest. All three individuals were issued summonses.

 

A W. Centre Street resident reported aluminum gutters were removed from his backyard. The homeowner requested extra patrols of the area. He was advised a report would be on file.

 

A Delaware Street resident advised officers during the overnight hours his license plate was removed from his vehicle. The victim turned in his other plate to Motor Vehicles. He was advised a report would be on file.

 

Police responded to the Woodlake Apartment complex for a domestic violence incident. All domestic violence guidelines were completed.

 

Inspira Hospital contacted police regarding a patient in possession of CDS paraphernalia. The 19 year old Sewell resident was issued a summons and released to the custody of hospital personnel.

 

Woodbury units were called to a vacant residence on High Street for a report of two individuals sitting on the steps. The two subjects were located and found to be in possession of open alcohol containers. Both were issued their summonses. The alcohol was destroyed and properly disposed.

 

Officers observed a male in front of J&D Liquors who appeared disheveled and unsteady. The Westville resident was found to be incoherent. Gloucester County EMS arrived on location. The male was found to be in possession of CDS. He was served with his summonses and released to the custody of ambulance personnel.

 

A 25 year old Woodbury resident came into headquarters to turn himself in on an active warrant. The accused was placed under arrest. The subject advised he was assaulted on N. Broad Street in the area of the SODAT building. He did not know the male who assaulted him or why he was assaulted. The subject was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department.

 

A resident of the White House Apartments advised the general mailbox for the complex was open. It is unknown if any mail was stolen at this time.

 

Police responded to N.  Columbia Street for a simple assault complaint. The 45 year old resident advised he was assaulted by his neighbor. There are ongoing issues between the two. The accused was issued a summons for simple assault and both subjects were issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

 

While on a motor vehicle traffic stop it was learned the operator had an active outstanding warrant for his arrest. The accused was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. At headquarters the issuing municipality released the accused on his own recognizance. He was released from custody with his traffic violations.

 

A S. Warner Street resident reported a package delivered by Fed Ex was removed from her property. She was advised a report would be on file.

 

An Atlantic City resident advised officers while crossing N. Broad Street she was removing cash from her wallet. A male walked passed her and grabbed the cash from her hands. The victim followed the accused but lost sight of him. Mc Donald’s restaurant may have video of the male. The manager will contact police.

 

Police received a call regarding a male soliciting money from customers at the Garden State Fuel. The 35 year old Clarksboro resident was located. He admitted to soliciting the funds. He was issued a summons for breach of peace.

 

 

Calls for Service October 31, 2013

A 29 year old Woodbury resident came into headquarters to turn herself in on an active outstanding warrant. The subject posted bail and was released with a new court date.

 

A Westville resident reported while her vehicle was parked on Green Street, her side view mirror was broken off. The complainant was not sure if the incident occurred on Green Street. She was advised a report would be on file.

 

A 36 year old Camden resident was observed improperly crossing N. Broad and E. Red Bank Avenue without using the crosswalk. Vehicles had to stop abruptly to avoid striking the male. The subject was found to have active outstanding warrants for his arrest.  The male was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. At headquarters the subject was released on his own recognizance by the issuing municipality. He was released from custody with a summons for obstructing traffic.

 

While on a motor vehicle traffic stop it was learned the 24 year old Mullica Hill resident had active warrants for his arrest. The accused was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. At headquarters the accused was released on his own recognizance by the issuing municipality. He was then released from custody with his traffic summonses.

 

Police were dispatched to the Cash for Gold store for an attempted robbery of an employee. The employee stated he was followed into the store by a male subject who then demanded his wallet. As the employee approached the accused he ran out of the store. Incident remains under investigation.

 

A 48 year old Woodbury resident was brought into headquarters to be turned in on an outstanding warrant. The subject was disheveled and had cuts and bruises. Officers advised the bail bondsman the subject would have to be taken to the hospital. The accused was advised a report would be on file if he wished to sign complaints against the bail bondsman.

 

While on a motor vehicle traffic stop the operator was found to have an active outstanding warrant for his arrest. The 32 year old Wenonah resident was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. At headquarters he was turned over to Deptford Township Police Department with his traffic summonses.

 

 

 

Calls for Service October 30, 2013

A 53 year old Woodbury resident advised police he felt harassed while in the area of McDonald’s by a 27 year old West Deptford resident. He was advised of the procedures to sign complaints with the court clerk’s office.

 

Officers observed a 44 year old Woodbury resident soliciting from motorists. The accused was issued a breach of peace summons and advised to cease her activity.

 

Police observed a 38 year old Woodbury resident improperly crossing N. Broad Street.  Upon obtaining his identity, it was learned the accused had active warrants for his arrest. The accused was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. At headquarters he was issued a summons for  his violation and turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department in lieu of bail.

 

A 28 year old Woodbury resident was observed crossing N. Broad Street at E. Red Bank Avenue not using the provided crosswalk causing traffic to stop abruptly to avoid striking him. The accused was issued a summons for obstruction. It was learned the subject had active outstanding warrants for his arrest. The accused was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. The subject was released on his own recognizance by the issuing municipalities.

 

While on a motor vehicle traffic stop, the passenger, a 34 year old Gloucester City resident, initially provided false information to officers. It was learned the subject had active outstanding warrants for his arrest. The accused was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. At headquarters the accused was issued a summons for hindering apprehension and turned over to the Camden County Sheriff’s Department.

 

Delaney Auto Sales on Salem Avenue reported the wires to their spotlights were cut by unknown actor/s. They were advised a report would be on file.

 

 

Calls for Service October 29, 2013

Officers responded to the Heritage store on N. Broad Street for a glass break alarm. On arrival the bottom door glass was shattered. The store was locked and entry was not made. Surveillance video will be reviewed to see if the identity of the accused can be determined.

 

While on a motor vehicle stop it was learned the operator had an active warrant for his arrest. The accused was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. At headquarters the accused was able to post bail and was released with a new court date and his traffic summonses.

 

Inspira Hospital contacted police regarding a patient admitted to the hospital who was in possession of CDS. The CDS was turned over to officers. The accused was issued a summons and served at the hospital.

 

A Myrtle Avenue resident reported the theft of his Debit card. He was advised to contact his financial institution immediately. The victim was also advised a report would be on file.

 

A Park Drive resident reported while at work today the residence was burglarized. There does not appear to be anything missing at this time. Investigation to continue.

 

Police responded to the Woodbury Court Apartments for a 54 year old resident stating her mail was stolen. The female was screaming profanities at a neighbor. Investigation revealed no mail was taken. The resident was issued a summons for breach of peace creating a disturbance in the complex.

 

A 51 year old Wenonah resident threw hot water on a male in the area of Broad and Cooper Streets. The female stated she felt intimidated by the male who only wanted to ask directions. The victim was advised of the procedure to sign complaints with the court clerk’s office.

 

While on a motor vehicle stop it was learned the operator had an active outstanding warrant for his arrest. The accused was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. At headquarters the accused was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department to be incarcerated in lieu of bail.

 

 

 

Calls for Service October 28, 2013

Police were dispatched to a domestic violence incident on Green Street. All domestic violence guidelines were completed.

 

Dollar General reported a customer came in and removed merchandise without paying for same. The store surveillance will be reviewed in an attempt to identify the accused. Investigation to continue.

 

A N. Horace Street resident advised police he feels he is being harassed by a neighbor. He was advised a report would be on file.

 

A 44 year old Woodbury resident was observed improperly crossing N. Broad Street in the area of Packer causing a traffic hazard. The female was issued a summons for obstructing  traffic.
